Employability Fitness Program

Many graduates and young job seekers have good academic credentials but lack the practical, non-academic skills that employers demand. They are unable to properly express themselves during interviews and get rejected. Because of this skills mismatch, they apply for many roles, get rejected or stuck in roles far below their potential.

Employability Fitness is a structured 6-week cohort program that blends soft-skills workshops, digital literacy, live interview simulation, CV & application coaching, and one-on-one mentorship. Participants will also engage in live projects and employer panels to understand real workplace expectations.

  • Participants finish the program confident in applying for roles with clarity and professional readiness.

  • At least 70% of graduates gain internship opportunities or job-interviews within 6 months.

  • Employers report improved candidate readiness and lower onboarding time.

The Career Moms Mentoring Program

The Career Moms Mentorship Program is an initiative under CareerLife Global dedicated to helping mothers rediscover, rebuild, and relaunch their professional journeys after childbirth. Whether it’s returning to paid employment, pivoting careers, or starting and scaling a business, Career Moms provides the tools, mentorship, and community to make it possible. Since its launch, the program has grown significantly:

The program initially engaged 70 moms, focusing on learning sessions designed for career-driven women.

Career Moms 2.0

Began with 70 moms, focusing on career women through general learning sessions.

Career Moms 3.0

Expanded to support women in business and introduced1:1 mentorship, pairing participants directly with experienced mentors.

Career Moms 4.0

Extended beyond Nigeria to support mothers in Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, and beyond, combining group sessions with personalized mentorship and cross-country peer learning.

I joined this program clueless, burnout and tired. I wasn’t even sure where to start, but every topic addressed my specific needs. The topics equipped me and forged me towards progress. The one-on-one mentorship is the highlight for me. I was able to engage my mentor one a one-on-one, ask questions and gain valuable wisdom. My CV was updated by my mentor, which gave me visibility.

One of the classes completely transformed my mindset around childbearing and balancing a career. I understand that having children is not limitation- it’s part of growth. Being a career mom doesn’t make me a failure for dropping my kids off and heading to work. On the contrary, I’m building a brighter future for them through the work i do.

Being part of the Career Mom mentorship program has been truly transformational. I rediscovered myself, shifted from survival mode to a more empowered minset, built the confidence to start taking bold steps moving forward, and learned to manage my time through delegating tasks to avoid burnout

My biggest joy is the fact that i took my importation classes seriously and lauched my China importation preorder business during my maternity leave.
